Komatsu Australia engaged with G Media Group to help raise awareness of their new short-term equipment rental proposition. The campaign needed to communicate how fast and easy was the rental option, the target market comprised of both small and large contractors, a tough audience to engage.
THE OUTCOME
To reach our target audience and deliver the message of fast and easy, we explored numerous creative avenues and slogans for the campaign to finally decide for Komatsu Quick Rent, which said it all. With the concept and tag line developed the visuals were created, applied and adapted to a mix of channels.
We see billboards every day, advertising 24hrs daily. Strategically chosen, the Sydney M4 Greystanes overpass billboard captured daily commuter traffic. It's no doubt that transit still works hard for brands. Movement attracts attention and sparks activity in the brain; therefore, we incorporated bus advertising covering the Sydney metro region.
With the concept finalised the remaining phase was to measure success. For this, we decided to use Phone Words, a quick and easy way to remember numbers, this enabled us to track results and reinforce the campaign tag line, 1300 Quickrent!
THE IMPACT
The campaign successfully created top of mind awareness in the equipment hire market. It generated leads with potential clients reaching and enquiring about the campaign and the new service offered by Komatsu.
